From My Brush

Gloria Wilson lives, works, and plays in Holly Hill, Florida, a suburb of Daytona Beach. Gloria is one of those people who always needs to be doing "something". She worked one job for 31 years and then moved onto a second career where she worked for 14 years before retiring.

After retiring from her second career, she enrolled herself in the School of Folk Art in Holly Hill where she lives. After 11 years she is still working with her instructor, at the school, Mary Sue Baldwin. At the School of Folk Art she has been blessed to have found a community of artisans with whom she continues to share creative endeavors. This wonderful group of artisans dabble in many types of projects using a variety of medium.

Ms. Wilson loves nature, flowers, and color and her work certainly reflects this. One of her favorite pieces, among many, is a colored pencil rendering of a little girl and boy on the beach...This image is available in her Etsy shop printed on beautiful quality note cards.

Please make it a point to stop by her shop where you can purchase prints, cards, candles, soaps and more...and while you are in the neighborhood please visit her blog. You will be so happy you did
